Is All the Pink Ribbon Campaign a Fraud?

This month you cannot go anywhere without seeing pink ribbons to remind us to DONATE and support “breast cancer cure research.” Even burly FOOTBALL players are wearing pink runners and gloves! But 41 years after Richard Nixon declared “War on Cancer,” cancer cuts a wider swath of death than ever before.  Why?  Are mainstream cancer doctors practicing scientific, ”evidence-based medicine,” or some kind of quackery?

My mother had five different kinds of cancer in her life, and her siblings all had it, and I have had cancer twice.  But you will not see me giving one penny to support Susan G. Komen, the Cancer Society or any other mainstream cancer fundraiser.  The reason is very simple: it is a complete waste of money.  And this is not only because the new treatments are toxic and ineffective.  I refuse my support  because the money raised is wasted.  It is very much like the billions in TARP funds given to Goldman Sachs and their crooked buddies: it has NO chance of solving the problem, because it was spent to propagate the obscenely profitable status quo.

In the case of cancer research, the money raised by the sweat and tears of cancer survivors and their families should be dedicated solely to producing cheap and effective cures for cancer that will save our lives and protect our wallets.  But have you noticed that, despite all the hundreds of billions in donations extracted from the public at every level for “cancer research,” there is still no cure for the killer cancers? And the new “treatments” developed are not being supplied at cost to the people who sacrificed to help pay for their development.  Instead, taking calculated advantage of the rising cancer epidemic, the drug companies are now charging more than ever for their toxic chemo “therapies.” I just spoke with a man who had paid $18,000 per treatment for a series of sixteen IV bags of super-poison that had no hope of causing his body to heal from cancer.  That is $288,000 wasted on POISON, with more to come.  Why don’t the people paying for the research at least get a price break on the drugs that result?

But at Least Chemo Helps SOME People, Doesn’t It?

Of course the cancer industry admits that they cannot save every cancer victim.  In fact, I have read that their own numbers show that a high percentage of cancer patients die of toxic mainstream cancer treatments, not the cancer itself.

But there must be a lot of people helped and cured by all those radical and expensive cancer treatments in America’s world-famous hospitals, right?  After all, doctors in the USA can practice only scientific, “evidence-based medicine,” not some kind of quackery.  Surely the FDA makes sure of that.

Let’s See the Actual Chemo Success Numbers

To answer those excellent questions, let’s have a look at a recent study of the actual success of chemotherapy treatments for cancer in the USA and Australia.

3% success. 97% FAILURE. That is being generous with the data, the truth is even worse.  And please note this key fact: the 3% “cure rate” for chemo does not even mean that 3% of cancer patients are actually healed by chemotherapy.  No, it only means that they survived at least 5 years before expiring.  If they die of cancer the day after their 5 year survival date, then they are still classed as cured!! So much for early diagnosis.
So I believe that in many cases, their chance of living a lot longer than 5 years was destroyed by the cancer-causing radiation and chemotherapy treatments that they were sold at inflated prices.  It is a published fact that both chemo drugs and radiation are carcinogenic, causing cancer in healthy people.

Cancer patients who do NOTHING to treat their cancer have better success rates than that.  In a recent study, for example, it appeared that as many as 22% of invasive breast cancers in Norwegian women disappeared spontaneously. Compare that with the 1.4% improvement seen in the study of chemo results for breast cancer in US women, or the 1.5% in Australian women.

Albert Einstein defined insanity as “doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.”  After over 60 years of resounding patient failure with chemotherapy, why do learned doctors do it to patients over and over?  What results do they really seek?  The answer is clearer when we recall that medicine is a business, and its success is measured by the financial results it produces, not physical healing.  The multi-billion dollar cancer industry is one of the most profitable industries ever conceived.

Do you think cancer patients should be given this chemo “success rate ” information as part of full disclosure?  It seems to me it is essential input for them to be able to give “informed consent” to toxic and risky therapies like IV poisoning by chemo.  Yet when I had cancer, my oncologist and doctor said not a word about it.
