Yesterday we dug out an old VHS videotape recorded the first time I was asked to speak about my cancer story and Dr. Hulda Clark.   As I watched the tape I was struck again by the simplicity of health.

If we give our bodies the clean food, water and air they need, and get exercise and sleep, they are designed to stay healthy.  I do not have to tell my body how to digest different kinds of food, or what to filter out of my blood, or how to repair an accidental injury.   Without any advice from me, the 50 different kinds of white blood cells that form my immune system can identify anything foreign in my blood, destroy it, and make antibodies to ensure that next time the destruction will be even faster.

When I remember all of these layers of hidden, automatic, self-healing complexity, I am deeply grateful to God.  Rather than worrying, I seek to be thankful for all that I have, and count my blessings.  From that foundation, i am much better equipped to address the possible areas of deficiency or toxicity, one thing at a time.

If you or someone you love faces a serious health problem, why not pause for a minute or two right now, and count your blessings?  Give thanks for as many as you can.

From that place of thanksgiving, you will be much better equipped to identify where to start.  Choose small steps that you can handle.  Address the areas that need changing to support your amazing self-healing body, and rejoice as it brings you back to health!

God bless you!
